Relax at this charming property in Mokalo, right on the beachfront

The Peljesac peninsula has lovely architecture, beautiful scenery, a great choice of things to do and is particularly appealing for those who have an interest in food. The village of Ston, apart from being very pretty, is famous in Croatia as a source of oysters and other shellfish. Trying the Ston black risotto, made with octupus ink and a lot of shellfish, is a must.

The beaches on the peninsula are very good, with those around Mokalo of particular note. It is also possible to take the ferry from Orebic to Korcula, Orebic itself is situated inbetween the pebble and sandy beaches that line the waterfront and the beautiful mountains behind. It should be noted that the walking along the coast is excellent.

Adriatic - 7 or 14 nights – room only

The Adriatic sits close to the sea (reached by walking through a small campsite in the grounds) and really makes the most of the location. The property’s seafront has benches and shaded areas scattered around where guests can enjoy the fabulous views. The owners run a Dive School making this a great place for those who would like to learn to dive or for those who already can.

The hamlet of Mokalo is little more than a collection of houses, but Orebic is only four kilometres away and may be reached using the local bus service or hire car. The team will happily provide a grocery shopping service for guests – and the property itself has an attractive restaurant and beach bar for the use of all those resident.
